Together whatever the weather

It's my entry for 's contest, which you can see here: [OC CONTEST] Together Whichever Weather! (there's still some time, so I recommend checking it out!)

The theme of the contest was weather and I decided to do something a little unusual - double rainbow (I love those ). On the picture you can see Panimated's character Pan (the otter) and my rattie Apricot (you can remember her from this picture: Fallen).

I've never drawn an otter before, but thanks to the wonderful ref sheet/tutorial linked on the contest rules I have understood her anatomy and the rest was pretty easy. Apart from the background. I'm still practicing drawing backgrounds and this is my first real complete picture with both characters and complete background. It was pretty hard and took me a while (whole thing took me ~10 hours), but I'm quite satisfied with how it turned out - hope you like it too! ^^

EDIT: I redid the cliff (you can see the previous version here: Together whatever the weather). I'm still not really satisfied with how it looks, but I think it's better and I'm really tired of it already (it took me way more than I'd like to admit already)... Hope you like it
EDIT2: I desaturated the cliff because it was too brown. I wonder when I will leave this piece be; I guess after contest deadline xD
