Description

Yeah, so I wanted to practice doing backgrounds (in this case: in fantasy style), add some dragons and upload it for a "first flight" challenge in a polish dragon group.
I have started it about a month ago and at first the composition was terrible ( Mountain dragons ) and today when I had some time I decided to move stuff around a bit and try to save it somehow, but then I figured that it's not really worth it, so I decided to leave as it is (tried adding these dragons too but didn't feel like finishing them ( Mountain cpy ).
And maybe someone could say a few things on what else I could have done to save it. I don't think I will be changing it, but I may redraw it some day, and also I could use some general tips for my future backgrounds... My note to self after this one would be: start using some references xD

Hi there~
This is really well drawn for a practice of technique piece.
The colours compliment each other, while blending together to make an eye pleasing finishing composition. If I have any gripes at all with this piece, it's that I feel some of the highlight areas/shadows don't quite match up with the light source direction. This I feel, makes it lose a bit of depth, and decreases the overall impact of the piece. The colours and setting you have chosen work very well with each other though, and the piece has a really calming feel. This is a really nice work.
